Recently, Chapeau Blog Awards announced its list of 2009 awards finalists.  Soon, one finalist from each category will be named the best blog in its industry.  One blog will be named 2009’s “Most Brilliant Blog” and take home our grand prize of $2,000!

To properly award this title, we need your help.  We need you and your blogging-savvy friends to join the 2009 voting panel of Chapeau Blog Awards.

Chapeau Blog Awards Announces Blog Awards Finalists!

Celebrating blogger brilliance is no easy task.  Our selection committee has worked tirelessly to select the blog awards industry finalists for the 2009 Chapeau Blog Awards.  Reviewing so many excellent entries, and reading so much brilliant blog content, was a week’s long, night and day effort.

In the end, it was all worth it.   Below, we’ve selected a final list of twenty blogs that truly illustrate what it means to be a brilliant blog, and brilliant blogger, in 2009.

Call For Blogger Brilliance Extended!

The Chapeau Blog Awards apologizes for any inconvenience experienced with our website being down this past weekend.

We are happy to announce, however, that we have extended the call for blogger brilliance by extending the Chapeau Blog Awards entry deadline until February 17th!

Our $2,000 grand prize and recognition for “Most Brilliant Blog” could still be yours – but hurry -  The Chapeau Blog Awards Online Awards ceremony is about to begin!

$2,000 will be awarded for 2009’s "Most Brilliant Blog" while 4 iPod Touch devices will be awarded for honorable mention positions!

The Chapeau Blog Awards latest blog review has arrived! It is here where The Chapeau Blog Awards’ dedicated team of reviewers put blogs to the ultimate test to let you know whether they’ll expand your mind or if they’re barely worth your time.

In this review, guest reviewer Jolina Pettice reviews the blog of Ted Earley, a fictional character from the hit NBC show, Life.  Earley, played by Adam Arkin, is a recent white collar parolee who finds himself living with another recent parolee whom he met in prison, wrongly convicted cop Charlie Crews.
