As A Blogger, What Words Have You Created?

As part of the blogosphere for several years, we at The Chapeau Blog Awards notice ourselves constantly inventing words when we talk about the world of blogging.

For instance, “flogging”? That’s a phrase we coined that defines the action of flaming someone on your blog. “Noggers”? That’s the rare, suspicious and silly breed known as non-bloggers.

What about you? Are there words you use that you would like to lay claim to before others do? Perhaps you are the regretfully anonymous individual who created the terms “blogosphere” or “blogerati” and are wondering why your parade of accolades never arrived.

Luckily, with the launch of The Chapeau Awards' BlogOh!Pedia, you can now officially contribute the blogtastic verbiage you create daily in order to help you and your fellow bloggers continue to grow and record your language.

Once your new word or phrase is accepted, we will add it to the BlogOh!Pedia, credit you for the contribution, and provide a link back to your blog!

In honor of this momentous launch, we are offering a free entry to the Chapeau Blog Awards to any bloggers who submit their new phrases prior to November 30th!

So steer clear of your “nogger” friends for a few weeks, take a break from “flogging” your rivals, and send us your latest and greatest additions to the BlogOh!Pedia before the end of the month, and prepare to live on in the online notoriety you’ve long deserved.
